Here are quick details about Findpet for shelters program:
- By default, your shelter contacts are used as a permanent backup contact for all shelters participating in the Findpet for shelters program (read more here).
- If someone sends a message via the pet profile at Findpet, you will receive the same notifications as foster parents of the transferred pet.
- To simplify reunion and protect from irresponsible pet owners, for all pets originally registered on the shelter account, your shelter contacts will be accessible on the pet’s profile too (read more here).
- You could also see if the new foster parents have completed pet transfer after adoption and assumed full conscious responsibility for their pet protection (read more here).
- To facilitate pet reunion and improve pet protection, Findpet offers a great tool called Pet Access log (read more here).
- Findpet allows manual pet addition to the platform by any shelter staff you grant access to the platform (read more here) or automatic pet data sync via integration with your Shelter Management Software (read more here).
